COMMITMENT TO SERVE
EXPANSION AND IMPROVEMENT
Prevost Memorial Hospital opened its doors to serve the Westbank Ascension Parish community in 1968 as a Service District Hospital, providing lifesaving services for patients with critical needs. In recent years, the hospital has made strides in improving the facilities and services available to patients, including the expansion of the Emergency Department in 2010. The hospital recently developed preliminary plans to remodel and expand areas of the hospital that have not been significantly renovated since the original construction 50 years ago.
